Void are a new and upcoming band from Brighton, UK established in 2021. Formed from the ashes of metal band Fathoms, and having spent years playing in other bands they came together and used to COVID pandemic to lock themselves away from the world and create something unique and fresh that they felt truly represented them musically and effectively blended genres they loved to create something new and different.
The band make music that draws influences from so many artists from trap to pop punk and they’re excited to release it into the world for everyone to hear.
They have big plans for the future with their first EP ‘Permanent’ dropping 15/10/2021, they are also heading back into the studio this fall to work on the follow up record. VOID already have plans to tour throughout 2022 and beyond, so hopefully they’ll see you at a show soon!

About the single:
Talk in Your Sleep was written during, and about the aftermath of a breakup.
It’s the realisation that the other person has moved on and revolves around the process of coming to terms with that and acceptance of loss.
We wanted to make something that stood out and sounded completely different to what other bands are putting out now, so we hope you enjoy!

About the band: (in their words) After touring the globe for years in our previous band Fathoms we got to see first hand just how important music is to everyone, that combined with the pandemic has only solidified just how necessary music is in the current climate. We put all of our writing, recording and performing knowledge into this project to make something different that we know people will love, something that speaks from the heart and something that is relatable and passionate because that’s what counts these days, people need to fall in love with music again and we’re here to make that happen and show everyone what we are about.
