Single By Sunday
Raucous guitars, vocal melodies, fun and tons of energy are all prerequisite at ‘Single By Sunday’ live shows. With a millennial brashness and a swagger all of their own, they pay homage to some of the mid-eighties Pop Punk bands.
Having opened the prestigious Scottish Music Awards, they have also headlined the Boston MA ‘First Night’ celebrations (at the request of NBC10 Boston) to a staggering 50k+ people. They also played Vans Warp tour in Buffalo NY alongside Sum 41 and The Story So Far etc.
Their style of melodic Pop Rock allows them to embrace their passion for including other musical styles and genres, e.g. synth pop, dance and even 80s Disco. “We just like to explore music and don’t believe that genres should have boundaries.”
Additionally, the band have also devised their own ‘Anti Bullying’ programme which they take into schools to promote issues such as online safety and individuality.
Single By Sunday also has one of their tracks: ‘Say That You Love Me’, placed in a soon to be released (via Netflix and Amazon) movie entitled ‘The Neverlist’. The movie stars Booboo Stewart (Twilight) and Fival Stewart.
On Helter Skelter – Whilst not wishing to glorify what happened at Spahn Ranch in 1969, the song is a biographical account of what Charles Manson did and asks the question why?
