It’s an absolute pleasure plugging Midlands band Dirty Jane at the moment as we get their new single Boogie Monster out to as many radio stations as possible – and they are loving it!
They are the first signing of Magic Garden Vinyl – with their double A Sided single coming out on…. you guess it…. vinyl – although you can download from the major sites too:-)
We want to thank Kerrang! Radio, Total Rock, Roundhouse Radio, BBC West Midlands, Amazing Radio and Fubar Radio (amongst many others) for playing the band recently. Virgin Radio and BBC Radio 1 have also had their ears pricked up to this fine new band! This could be a big year for them!
Wills and the Willing are being played on the radio all over the globe at the moment as our contacts are captivated by their new single Butterflies.
The track has already been played on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio Jersey – and recently picked up plays on Manx Radio, Touch FM, Banbury Sound and The Voice in North Devon. Paul Sexton from BBC Radio 2 loves the track and the Q Burn syndicated show has played it for a number of weeks – which has helped them reach thousands of new fans.
Well done, guys!
It’s almost been too hard keeping up with all the airplay for Where Fires Are – and the plays continue to stream in for the new single I’ve Got The Time.
They’ve been played on Johnny Doom from Kerrang! Radio’s show for over 5 weeks now – as well as student radio stations like Stag Radio, Burn FM, Insanity Radio and Spark FM. They’ve been on the Voice FM playlist in Southampton for weeks too – and even made it onto the airwaves in America as well, thanks to Riff 2 in Detroit.
They were also invited in for a chat and a session at their local BBC Station in Leeds, which went down a storm. This band are set for big things. Mark my words!
Well done to Billy Bibby and the Wry Smiles who were on the daytime playlist of BBC Radio Wales for 5 weeks in total! They’ve had such a strong campaign with their single Substitute – which also had 3 weeks on the Virgin Radio Evening playlist.
We’re very proud of them!
We look forward to plugging their next single very soon!
We started the week with a couple of awesome daytime BBC interviews for our clients Billy Bibby & The Wry Smiles and Chris Hamilton.
Billy appeared on BBC Radio Wales with Eleri Sion on Monday afternoon (Jan 31st) – which sounded beautiful! (We have a soft spot for the song Don’t Fall though!). His band’s new single Substitute is out now and is on the BBC Wales playlist for a second week picking up a huge number of plays.
One of our new clients, Chris Hamilton, had a great chat with Paulette Edwards on BBC Radio Sheffield after she invited him in to talk about his new single Rescue Me. The song went down a storm and so did his topless Twitter profile photo! “It’s the only photo I have” said Chris, innocently!
Thanks to Paulette and Eleri for having Chris and Billy in on your shows – you’re both stars!
