We just heard that The Sad Song Co. will be played on BBC 6 Music next week, thanks to Chris Hawkins.
Chris has supported the band in the past and he’s now the first national BBC presenter to play the first single from their new album “in amber” – which is released on August 26th.
You can hear Legacy of Love this coming Tuesday (Aug 2nd) – on the Early Breakfast Show. Brilliant news!
Billy Bibby (ex Catfish and the Bottlemen founder) is set for having a “super Sunday” today (July 31st) as not only does he play Kendal Calling today (with his band The Wry Smiles), he will be played on Minster FM by Shed Seven’s Rick Witter on his “Disco Down” show too.
The single Are You Ready? has been played on well over a hundred radio stations since we plugged it – and this is the icing on the cake. Thanks, Rick!
It’s been an awesome week for Heel as they appeared on Johnny Doom’s TV show (w/c July 25th) as well as his show on Kerrang! Radio – and then the news came in that they’d been added to the New Rock Show playlist on Planet Rock Radio.
Thanks to Johnny and Wyatt for their continued support of Heel. It’s always a pleasure to work with these guys. This is the 4th single we’ve plugged from their current album “The Parts We Save” – and people are still so excited to support the band:-) Us too;-)
The Kut have been getting spot plays on Kerrang! Radio on Johnny Doom’s show over the past couple of weeks – and he was also very pleased to play their video on his TV show on Big Centre TV this week (July 13th).
This proves that the “girls that rock” sound great on the radio and look great on the telly too. Check out the new single Bad Man when you can!
It’s been hard to keep up with the number of plays Deadset Dream have received in their first few days of plugging – but we know they’re a hit both sides of the Atlantic!
They’ve been played on Riff 2 in Detroit, on Q108 in Canada – as well as Open the Door Radio in Colorado, the Idobi network and on the syndicated Westfield Alliance Indie show in the states.
They’re also going down a storm in the UK with plays from north to south of the country, on Total Rock, TBFM and Rock-Radio.co.uk – and also on the Johnny Doom evening show on the world-famous Kerrang! Radio.
Well done to them!

The Sun Hotel have had a great campaign so far – and were thrilled to be played on Rick Witter’s show on Minster FM.
Rick is well known for his band Shed Seven, and he also presents his own “Disco Down” show on York’s Minster FM every week. He played the new single from The Sun Hotel “A Quest for Knowledge” on July 3rd and it sounded awesome.
Well done, boys.. and thanks Rick!
Well done to Barnsley’s Hands Off Gretel, who are being supported by Johnny Doom on Kerrang! Radio at the moment – as he spot plays their single One Eyed Girl.
The single is out on July 8th and they play dates all over the country over the coming weeks to support the release. Alt Press will be showing the new video on July 6th – so make sure you check it out – it’s a cracker!
Many congrats to The Bluebook Project who’ve been added to The New Rock Show playlist on Planet Rock Radio once again! Their last single Hurricane Blues was supported by Wyatt Wendels last year – and they’re back for their final release from the current Take Me Away e.p. (July 2nd).
The band are over the moon with “doing the double” on Planet Rock and are currently being supported on Johnny Doom’s show on Kerrang! Radio too!
It’s hard to keep up with the plays;-)
It’s great to be working with The Kut once again – and within hours of plugging them, we heard that Johnny Doom was going to play their new single Bad Man on his show on Kerrang! Radio (June 28th).
The ladies were thrilled – as were we;-)
Make sure you check out their UK tour and grab a copy of their new e.p. too.
