Another great result for Pluggin Baby – and something completely different for us, as we’re talking jazz music. We were rather taken by the originality of the new single from Undiscovered Television, so we took it on and achieved our first Jazz FM play at the weekend.
The track Smedley Butler’s War appeared on Ruth Fisher’s “Full Circle” show on June 26th and we’re looking forward to the band appearing on Ruth’s show soon – and for other tracks from their upcoming album to be aired too.
Thanks Ruth, and well done to UTV:-)
It was a brilliant start to the new campaign for The Bluebook Project – as they were played twice on Johnny Doom’s evening show on Kerrang! Radio last week (June 23rd and 24th).
Pockets of Dirty Change is featured on their Take Me Away ep – which is available now – and it’s a “really big chunk of heavy rock n roll” that sounded great on Kerrang! Radio – so, thanks to Johnny – and congrats to the band!
It was another big play for Birmingham’s Hankks on June 22nd, as they picked up support on Edith Bowman’s breakfast show on Virgin Radio.
The newly relaunched radio station is sounding awesome at the moment – and we’re not just saying that as they’ve played a few of our artists recently;-)
Thanks Edith – and well done to Hankks. They’re chuffed:-)
Thanks to Adam Walton from the Introducing Show on BBC Radio Wales for his excellent support of The Sun Hotel and Billy Bibby and the Wry Smiles. He played them both on his show on June 18th and continues to support both artists regularly.
The BBC Introducing shows are awesome platforms for bands and artists to be played on, so if you’re a musician, and you want plays on BBC Radio, you know what you need to do!
Well done to Luna Rosa who were invited into Fubar Radio this week (June 8th) to appear on Joey Page’s show.
They made their way to London and appeared live in conversation and played some session tracks too – and loved every minute of it. They’ve had a great campaign so far with their single “This One (High on the Groove” and have been played on over 80 radio stations:-)
Thanks to Radio X for playing the new single from Billy Bibby & The Wry Smiles “Are You Ready?” on John Kennedy’s show on May 31st. It sounded absolutely awesome and we’re thrilled for them.
This is brand new material from the ex Catfish and the Bottlemen founder and guitarist with his new band, and it’s released on June 17th. Make sure you check it out!
