Well done to The Rooz, who’ve been chosen to play at the next Real Radio XS “Future Classics Live” gig at Manchester’s Hard Rock Cafe.
These are monthly events are there’s a lot of stiff competition to be added to one of the bills, so this is a great achievment!
Louis from the band will be putting on a great show with his piano and loop pedal to entertain the audience this Friday night (Sept 25th).
Johnny Doom from Kerrang! Radio is now on the TV too – and he’s asked our very own Mordecai to appear on his Big Centre TV show next week.
You can watch the show if you’re in the Midlands on Wednesday night (Sept 23rd) from 10pm – and if you’re from outside the area, you can watch via their website. Johnny will chat to Dan and Mickey from the band about their new e.p. and they’ll get to air the video to their last single Just One Life.
Enjoy… and thanks to Mr Doom:-)
We’re looking forward to Wyatt’s show on Planet Rock Radio this Saturday night (Sept 19th) once again as our clients Theia and Paul Menel & The Essentials will appear on the show once again.
It’s a brilliant show playing new rock tunes from new artists and established artists alike – and makes for great listening from 10pm every Saturday night.
Thanks to Wyatt for supporting many of the Pluggin Baby artists:-)
Well done to Marcella Detroit who’s just been invited into Radio 2 to appear on two different shows!
Sara Cox will be featuring her on the Sounds of the 80s show on a Saturday night to talk about her time in Shakespears Sister in the late 1980’s. This will air in October and Marcella will also be doing an acoustic session for the Bob Harris show in November. We’re over the moon for her:-)
The single England Calling is out now.
They’ve done it again!
Burn Down Rydell’s new single “Drowning” has been added to the Kerrang! Radio playlist – including various plays on Johnny Doom’s evening show. The band appeared on Johnny’s TV show a couple of weeks ago where they aired their new video too.
Drowning is the new single from their “Try Silence” e.p. and has made a splash all over the world;-)
It’s an absolute pleasure to be plugging you, gents!
Their last single spent weeks on the Planet Rock playlist and Theia have done it again!
The new single “Ride On” has just been added to the New Rock Show playlist from this weekend (Sept 5th) which is brilliant news for the young Burton band! They release their much-awaited debut album “Take the Pill” later this year and play a string of live dates to support the releases.
Make sure you check them out live – these guys kick ass!
It’s been a big week for Paul Menel & the Essentials as they were added to the New Rock Show playlist on Planet Rock Radio (Sept 5th).
Paul was once the frontman of prog rock band I.Q. and is releasing his solo album in November. He has just released the single “They Call Her Leaf” and it’s been supported by over 70 radio stations (and building) so far!
Being added to the Planet Rock playlist is the icing on the cake – well done, Paul!
Well done to Manchester’s Puppet Rebellion, who were chosen as the “Future Classics” band this week on Real Radio XS (w/c Aug 31st). Their new single “Life is in Your Hands” was given tremendous support on the radio station and played three times in one day.
It sounded awesome too. The band launched the new single in their home city and acquired a new fan in the shape of Clint Boon from XFM. It’s been a great campaign so far and we’re very proud to be plugging them for a third time!
