It had its exclusive first play on XFM last week, and this week (w/c Jan 26th) their new single “Rising” has been added to Johnny Doom’s playlist on Kerrang! Radio.
Johnny has been a big supporter of the band for a while now and he’ll be playing the single regularly on his evening show for the next few weeks. The band release their new e.p. “We are the Brave” on February 16th, so make sure you grab a copy!
They may only be aged 16 – 18, but that hasn’t stopped them being supported by Jim Gellatly on XFM Scotland this week. Jim has supported the band for months on his Amazing Radio show and this week, he’s playing their single “Decide” as his Breakout Track on Friday January 30th.
It’s a brilliant climax to their campaign – and the band are very happy to be featured on both XFM Drive time and Breakfast shows. (They will also be played on Monday Feb 2nd by Fraser Thomson)

It was a great start to the campaign for Skarlett Riot, who were played first by legendary rock DJ Ian Camfield on the XFM network (XFM London, XFM Scotland and XFM Manchester) on January 18th. We’re thrilled with the support Ian has given the band, and we’ve just sent the track out to the rest of the country – we know they’ll get many more plays!
Their new single “Rising” is out now, followed by their new e.p. “We are the Brave” on Feb 16th.
Well done to Edinburgh’s Ded Rabbit who’ve been chosen to be played on the Morton Through Midnight show on BBC Radio Scotland on Saturday 17th January. Their new single is called Better on the Day and we’re really pleased to be plugging it. We have high hopes for this band of brothers!
Well done to Midlands metal band Martyr de Mona, who will hit the big time next week with their single “Gravity Breaks” on national Planet Rock Radio.
From January 10th, Louis and the lads from MDM will be played every Saturday and Monday night on the New Rock Show.
This takes their airplay count over 50 stations and shows for this campaign and is a great start to the new year. We just heard they’re up for a couple of Pure Rawk Awards too. Well done and good luck to them!
