Thanks to Alex Lester from BBC Radio 2 who played the new single from Louise Rutkowski on his show this morning (April 23rd)
This is excellent news for Louise, who has already been playlisted on BBC Radio Scotland, and played on dozens of other radio stations all over the UK and beyond! Her new album “Diary of a Lost Girl” is definitely one to watch for 2014.
Thanks to Johnny Doom from Planet Rock who played We Are The Catalyst on his show last Friday (April 18th) and again on Monday night (April 21st) The single “Being Number One’ is going down a storm all across the UK, and getting this play on national (DAB) radio is a great achievement for the band. Back slaps all round, we think;-)
Well done to ANiMA who will be played on Ian Camfield’s Rock Show on XFM on Sunday April 20th.
The Sun & The Moon will hit the airwaves of XFM London, XFM Manchester and XFM Scotland – as well as globally via the XFM website. We’re thrilled for the band – what a great Easter present;-)
It’s been a busy year of plugging at Pluggin Baby, but did you know we also put on gigs?
It’s true. Our “Emma Scott and Pluggin Baby” gigs are going great guns at the O2 Academy in Birmingham and we can now announce our next 2.
First up – Saturday May 10th, with The Rainband, Superficials, Kuoko and Charow play live.
And then, Saturday June 7th, headlined by Follow You Home with support from Feral Sun and Anima – and a couple more bands to add.
Tickets are on sale now priced £6.00. We hope to see you there.
Thanks to Johnny Doom from Planet Rock for playing the new single “Evacuate” from Feral Sun on his show last week. He’ll be playing them again this coming Friday night, which will get repeated the following Monday. Skills.
Meanwhile, we’ve been busy sending out the new album and are very impressed by the stunning artwork, but also the sheer quality of the tracks on this absolute BEAST! This is the third single from the band we’ve promoted to radio and we’re so pleased to see their popularity rise with each one. – We’re thrilled to see all the positive comments coming through about the album too and have genuinely lost track on how many plays the single has picked up as it’s been coming in thick and fast.
Well done, Feral Sun!
Ex This Mortal Coil singer, Louise Rutkowski has been added to the BBC Radio Scotland playlist with her new single “Help Me”. She was recently interviewed on the station and has great support from Janice Forsyth who presents the afternoon show there.
Other radio stations are following suit with more plays coming from all over the UK. “Fabulous voice and what a song!” said Marc Tyley at Manx FM, “A wonderful gem!” said TD1 Radio and Tempo FM were pretty impressed: “Wow, this has given me goosebumps, absolutely magical!”
We agree:-) Louise’s album Diary of a Lost Girl is out now.
Well done to rock band Lock Up Laura, who’ve been played on over 50 radio stations with their latest release “Hold My Breath.” It looks like Americans love their sound as well as us Brits as they’ve been added to rotation on a number of stations Stateside, including Steel 93 Radio who’ve been playing them for weeks.
The comments they’ve received from various radio presenters were awesome too: “This band is exceptional” said one and another: “Bloody good track, I’ll play it!” We’re proud to have plugged them and we look forward to doing it all again in the future!
